11:14 (2003)www.imdb.com/title/tt0331811/what a fantastic movie once again! tells a story around a car crash in 5 different perspectives, tarantino style. the screenplay is really good, and the movie is very interesting and doesn't get boring at any point. highly recommend this to everyone! 8/10 Star Wars (original trilogy) well i don't have time to write a huge essay on this (i could, but i won't) so i'll just say, these movies still keep your interest the whole ~6 hours, even though you've seen them like 10 times each. considering what kinda crap they put out in the 70s and early 80s there's not much movies that have aged this well. they aren't perfect, but they are epic! 8/10

Miami Vice
Everybody has said it's weak as fuck, but I don't know. I would watch movie like this again, I've seen way worse action flicks. It had it's hot spots and downfalls, but yet it was entertaining for that two hours. Somehow I just that "modest" acting in this one. 7/10

Alien
This one was real cool movie, at first it was a little boring before the alien itself showed up, but after that it was cool and interesting all the way to the end. Storyline was really impressive and many times when you thought you're on a track it changed. The effects worked damn well when you think how old it was, I mean even today you see some movies with way more crappy effects than this had, and I mean this in a good way. The only thing in the effects that was kind of funny was that robot guy who had his head cut off and the head started talking.. man it looked more like a Kummeli scene than serious movie, but back then was back then. Plus every kill there was were pretty cool. 9/10

www.imdb.com/title/tt0960890/so, where do i begin... this just wasn't for me (thx mates for picking it up from a rent-a-movie), it has a very cheap feeling written all around it. too bad jenna (nor her things) didn't saved it. oh, the mexican dude was funny as hell and full of attidute = 1 star dubbed in finnish version of kung pao is still topping my "worst movies ever" list, but zombie strippers came really close. 1/10

hmmm let's see... the 80s action classic.. "American Ninja" (1985) www.imdb.com/title/tt0088708/haha i remember how this TEH SHIT back when i was a kid. so i had to watch it again. and you know what it wasn't too bad, it was really funny. only that i don't know if it was meant to be funny the dialog and the plot was somewhat retarted but it was still fun to watch, until the end when the ninja's started shooting lasers and fire out of their hands that was a bit too much for me, funny that things like that didnt' bother me at all when i was a kid. 5/10 --------------- The Godfather (1972) www.imdb.com/title/tt0068646/it's been a while since i watched this for the last time, and i think this time i finally got the most of it. it's unbelievable how much better this movie is than anything else done in the 70s or even 80s, and how much all later mafia films owe to this one. anyway very moody mafia film about family and loyalty. seeing michael become the next don, from a regular man trying to keep out of the family business is just absolutely great to watch. the replay value is great too, when i finished this movie i wanted to watch it all over again. well, will soon watch the sequels first. the only thing that bothered me was that there were a lot of scenes where people talked a lot of italian and i didn't have subtitles for that, so i don't know if i missed much in them. some call this overrated, but the fact is this movie is over 35 years old and it's still extremely enjoyable, i really don't people will still be watching some of the today's hit movies after 30 years. 9/10 ------------------- Hard Target (1993) www.imdb.com/title/tt0107076/this has been said to be jean-claude van damme's best movie. well i think it's one of the better films, but as a timetravel freak nothing can beat timecop anyway this film is special cause i think it had a lot of really good things and also a lot of really bad things. the acting for the two bad guys was fabulous (Lance Henriksen and Arnold Vosloo) but the acting for the good guys was horrible (Van Damme, Yancy Butler). The premisis was good, the bad guys were arranging manhunts with homeless people (offering them cash if they could make it alive to certain distance, which they never did) and van damme's character starts to investigate (well hardly) a death of a certain homeless guy. the plot kinda fell apart later on, and most of the dialog and script is just ridicilous the action sequences were really REALLY over the top. most of it was super exciting and cool though, like van damme killing a shit load of bad guys in entertaining ways. but while doing that he was also jumping freakishly long somersaults and backflips here and there but all this corny stuff also makes this entertaining, watch this with few buddies and few beers and you'll have a blast. 6/10 --------------- The Exorcist (1973) www.imdb.com/title/tt0070047/i don't think i had ever seen this completely, so it was a good time to watch it finally. like godfather this is one of the rare actually good films from the 1970s. after silent hill saw and other super spooky and gory stuff this fails to scary you, but it's still really enjoyable and i just loved the whole mood in this one. the whole religious angle bothered me a bit, but other than that this was very classy oldskool horror flick. 7/10 ------------------- Air Force One (1997) www.imdb.com/title/tt0118571/one of the great 90s mindless action movies. this film has incredible amount of stupidity and super unrealistic stuff, but still it's fantastic gary oldman is the star of this movie, but i don't think harrison does a bad job either. so if you want an extremely stupid but very entertaining action film, here's one 7/10 ------------------- My Date with Drew (2004) www.imdb.com/title/tt0378407/i catched this at tv last week, i missed a bit from the beginning but i think i got most of it. it's a documentary about a guy who decides to try and get a date with his childhood crush drew barrymore. i wont' do much spoilers but it was really fun to watch, expecially since i'm a documentary junkie (any style will do). 7/10

Sliding Doors (1998) www.imdb.com/title/tt0120148/this was pretty wicked. i'm not much of a fan of british movies (except snatch) but this one was really good. the hook in this film is the great concept: after getting fired from her job it shows what would have happened to the main character if she makes it to the train and if she doesn't. the moment the doors close the movie devides to two parts and shows both scenarios. oh and the story was great too 8/10
