i'm a tv series junkie. i think i prefer watching good series to even watching movies, don't have to schedule 2 hours to watch something, but 40 mins.

here's couple of essential links for all you tv series fanatics (i use these daily) :

a site to stay track on what episodes you've seen and what you haven't. has a list of pretty much all tv series ever made (reality included). you register an account here and then pick the shows you are watching. everytime you watch an episode you check it 'watched' in the site and it will tell you what the next episode is and when it will air. if you're watching like +20 different shows it's really easy to stay track on what you've seen and what not. also good tool to see when series come back from their break.

also a useful site to stay track on what you've seen and what not. usually it has a good description on what happens on an episode, so if you're not sure have you seen an episode or not, this is the place.
this is also the place for me to find new good series, i usually watch the pilot on lot of different series and then decide what's worth watching. the site features "top shows" and "top rated shows" charts on each category, so it's easy to find shows that others have thought kick ass

for instance atm, top rated shows for drama are:

3. lost

...

so anyway here's some of the series i'm watching (or have watched)

24 (new season in november!)

(comedy):

hmm don't think there are others atm..

(teen):
veronica mars (don't know if this is cancelled, but i can't help myself i loved this series)
kyle xy (started off great, but turned into a bit too teenish and weird)
gossip girl (hehe has it's moments, kinda girly show, like me)

(reality):
the apprentice (the best )
american gladiators (hehe just started watching this, pretty mindless fun)
ultimate fighter
gene simmons' rock school (don't know if this will continue, but this was pretty entertaining, gene is quite the character )
gene simmons' family jewels (not that good tbh, has it's moment, i watch this if there is nothing else to watch)

cancelled series:
Tru Calling
Day Break
Journeyman (i fucking loved all these 3 series, and i still cry every night that they all got cancelled. and what's common with all these three? time travel!)

also:
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (really funny, really intelligent and emotional series. guess it was too intelligent for the american public)

I'm pretty much full on focused on the X-Files. What a great series and gets to a whole new level when you get to watch few episodes in a row! Missing only last two dvd-bxes of the full 9 and after having them all, and having them all watched moving to "The Lone Gunmen" -spin off. Maybe after it I'll watch couple other Chris Carter productions like Millenium and Harsh Realm.

My spark for sci-fi did pretty much wake up again, due to X-Files so I'd like to get my hands on Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica etc. stuff.

Nowadays I haven't watched that much series than I used to watch couple of years ago. I'll start up here with shows I'm watching atm or when they start

- All WWE/TNA wrestling (yeah I still watch it and it's still cool)
- The Shield (I'm just started to watch it.. going on 2nd season now)
- 24 (when it starts. Really awesome series Jack Bauer is the man)
- Stargate Atlantis (because SG1 ended.. no for real good series both of them)
- Hogan Knows Best (Hogan's cool, don't like his wrestling, but this is true showman)

Some I've watched in the past, but haven't find time or interest to continue for some reason

- Lost (Got a bit weird, maybe one day I'll continue, dunno)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Today if this would run I probably wouldn't watch it anymore.. somehow people on their 30's and still in college wouldn't work )
- Angel (This one got some attitude, cool series)
- The O.C. (One more of these teen series, funny shit, sometimes really stupid drama moments, more like comedy )
- Tru Calling (this should have continue, really liked this one)
- Viva La Bam (really easy to just watch and don't think entertainment)
- The King Of Queens (damn, why they stopped this, probably one of the best ever)
- Friends (oh c'mon who don't watch it)
- South Park (back in the days I used to watch this a lot, but now for about 5 year or so I haven't really watched it at all, just for the times I happen to tune in when it's starting on tv. This one I should bring back to my series arsenal some time)
- Prison Break (also this one I should get back on too. I'm somewhere in the middle of 2nd season. Really clever series with great twists now and then)
- X-Files (this was nice series, but at some point it just went off hands and got really weird, still watched it tho. Probably would watch today if it would run)

ufc/mma is the replacement for all your wwe/tna, boxing, kickboxing, martial arts needs

i love friends, i can't believe i forgot to mention it. i've watch the whole 10 season series couple of times through from first episode to the last one. sitcoms usually suck ass, but friends is just amazing. good actors, exteremly funny and emotional in times aswell.

i should definitely give shield a go sometime, i've watch couple of episodes but it didnt't really hook me, i should start from the beginning.

and south park is the shit
i know a lot of people who say they used to watch south park, the first 3-4 seasons or so.. when in fact the series really started to rock after 5th season. what i love about the show most is that in times it's the most intelligent stuff i've seen on tv, and then next second it's the lowest piece of garbage humour you could image

well it's broadcasted in finland, but they are like in the fifth season or something, and they broadcast it like 8 episodes / year.
so online for me aswell..

Yeah I watch it every now and then also when I happen to be in front of tv when it's on. That movie myths episode was pretty interesting. Those two are like two stupid kids and geniuses at the same time.

just discovered an awesome new tv series! it's called "burn notice", a series about a secret agent who gets burned (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burn_notice), so he loses everything work, bank accounts, contacts everything and has to stay in one city. so he uses his skills to get some cash and tries to find out why and who burned him.

gonna go watch an episode right now!

another semi-good show is "chuck", it's basically an action comedy spy show. this ordinary computer guy gets all the cia/fbi/nsa/etc national secrets into his head..
kinda light thoughtless fun..

if burn notice is a 9/10 series, this would be about 6/10, yet it's still better than most series

oh and about a month and dexter, heroes and prison break all three return!

no happy tree friends here, i'm not THAT f'ed up...

started watching a new interesting series yesterday, called "breaking bad". it's about this chemistry professor, who founds out that he only has a year or two to live, so he starts making drugs to get his family a good life after he's gone.

so far seems really promising..

/\ seems like that show above just aired on finnish television this week aswell (you should definitely check it even if you missed the first episode)

finally started watching 'californication', i didn't think i would like it, but man i love this show
i hate that the episodes are only 30minutes and there aren't much of them. the time goes by really fast watching this.

also started watching the sitcom 'how i met your mother' and this seems to be one of the best sitcoms since friends

anyone watching the new eliza dushku series "dollhouse", the first two episodes have been ace! really nice and unique theme/idea in it.

if you're into semi-futuristic near future technology thrillers such as 'minority report' and 'total recall' (not that hardcore though) definitely check this out!
