ok another season over, and now we have to wait again
so anyway it's time for a season review..
1201 - Tonsil Trouble (8/10)
really nice, i loved the good old fashioned south park vibe in it. kyle laughing to cartman cause he has aids, so cartman injects kyle with his own blood to give him aids too
"i'm not just sure, i'm hiv positive"
1202 - Britney's New Look (6/10)
this one was really weird and disturbing
it did have a strong message and i must admit all those children of the corn or whatever horror novel references were pretty sick. a good episode, just not that funny.
1203 - Major Boobage (7/10)
excellent again, loved the heavy metal references
had lots of cool things, like kenny and gerald fighting over the chick in heavymetal land, when in reality they were wrestling in a sandbox
1204 - Canada On Strike! (8/10)
wonderful episode, you gotta love south park for how they treat canadians
butter's version of what what in the butt, youtube stars and the awesome star of the episode, stephen abootman
loved his 'victory' dance in the end
1205 - Eek, A Penis! 7/10
what's most funny about this is that the whole penis-mouse joke lasts like 2 minutes max, yet they stretched it to 20 minutes
the mouse and penis singing the feivel (american tale) song was no doubt the highlight of the episode for me
"somewhere, somewhere...."
1206 - Over Logging (8/10)
another winner here, randy, teh internet, "after you've seen two japanese girls puke in each others mouths you can't really go back to playboy"
1207 - Super Fun Time (8/10)
haha this was again traditional south park. loved the die hard bad guys doing a heist for couple of bucks and cheeseburgers
the pioneers staying true to their story even though the bad guys start to shoot them one by one
1208 - The China Probrem (6/10)
possibly the worst episode of the season for me, with the britney one. haha it was funny seeing indy raped in famous movie rapes by spielberg and lucas
but the whole cartman butters storyline kinda didnt' go anywhere, plus they both seemed very much out of character.
the whole "our friend was raped" thing didn't quite do it for me neither.
1209 - Breast Cancer Show Ever (7/10)
solid south park, episodes that take place in the school are always fun and traditional. i'm not much of a fan of wendy's character but she was ok in this one. cartman was fantastic once again
1210 - Pandemic
1211 - Pandemic 2 - The Startling 9/10
the guinea pigs did it for me, just fabulous
i mean the story was epic south park, and the bad guys revealing to be monsters or aliens is something we all love so much about south park
once again GUINEA PIRATE!!
1212 - About Last Night 9,5/10
possibly the best episode of the season. it was so goddamn funny! randy once again made this episode!
obama only running for president so they can do a ocean's eleven style heist is south park at it's finest
it's incredible that this episode was aired just day after obama winning.
1213 - Elementary School Musical 8/10
this reminded me a lot about some older south park episodes. i haven't really payed much attention to highschool musical, but i think i know pretty much what's it like. this had really potential to be a big winner of the season, they slightly ghheeyish "slap slappedy slap" dad of the singer dude, a boy who just wanted to play basketball but his dad thought it was for wusses, and he should do singing and dancing
the best moment for me was when stan was talking to himself, clearing his mind about wendy and stuff, and it started to buildup into a musical scene... kids following him doing fingersnaps... then... no, NO, NO, NO.. i'm not doing it... no... fuck you guys, i'm not doing it
one thing that makes south park for me is the music, and trey is a musical genious. unfortunetly the music in here wasn't standard south park quality. with good catchy/cheesy with emotional chord changes this could have been the best episode of the season for me.
1214 - The Ungroundable (6.5/10)
i wasn't really feeling this one either. i can't really relate to goth kids or vampire loving kids much, so maybe that was it, i never listened to "the cure" when i was young
i've only seen this once so far, so maybe it will grow on me. i did love trey's indiegoth songs
"burning down hot topic!"
