Yeah I don't really care about the "real" olympic games, you know swimming, tracks etc. but football and basketball is what I'm gonna be watching if I have a change. At least what comes to football, seems to be they play when I'm at work . I'm really looking into USA basketball matches, should be some sweet dunks there. Was there boxing? If there is maybe I'll watch it too.

Damn, I love those USA basketball matches. So sweet dunks. When I watched the first match I went to buy NBA 2008 the next day indeed... basketball is probably the most exciting sport for me in the olympics. usa matches are naturally the best, but other matches are pretty good too. china's got that giant yao ming, spain is excellent (the reigning world champions). usa is probably has the worst throws in the whole tournament, i mean they hardly score even half of freethrows, yet they are so powerful and good with defence that nobody stands any chance with them.

yeah phelps is really great, but then again he's not THAT much better than everyone else. he's definitely the best swimmer around, but he's not really dominating everyone, one event he just barely won. so you can't say if he's the best olympian around, he's basically lucky that he can partisipate to 8 different forms of his own sport, so has that chance to win 8 medals. there are a lot of really dominating champions in other sports, but there's only one form of their sport, so they can't win more than one medal even though how good they are.

I accidentally was watching this while eating, but damn. What about that Jamaican runner, who brake the record.. can't remember the name tho. He was like from the different world, if anyone saw the run. He was quite a showman also. I think these kind of sports needs more people like him. Anyway, tomorrow USA's basketball match!
