man what a producer! for some reason i've been listening to old art of trance records a lot in the past few weeks. just perfect records, trance the way it should be. i don't know if this legendary artist will get any appriciation on these forums, but i had to post this anyway ........................... art of trance - madagascar could only find this clip of it, it has the original about halfway through and then the ferry corsten remix the other half. i used to listen the ferry corsten, cygnus x and push remixes. after the cygnus x remix everyone who remixed this used the melody in the cygnus x remix, even though it sounds nothing like the original i personally think the original mix is a trance masterpiece, just absolutely amazing, but the remixes aren't bad either, they are just totally different style. ........................... art of trance - gloria (transparent mix): who could forget this one, made in 1993! still sounds somewhat fresh. what an amazing bassline, incredible atmosphere and catchy piano riff. ........................... art of trance - kaleidoscope yet another beautiful atmospheric piece, makes you drift away into the deepest places of your mind ........................... art of trance - golden rain: art of trance - cambodia (tunnel vision mix): art of trance - orange art of trance - deeper than deep art of trance - octopus

Nope, not for me. Didn't listen to all of these, but those I listened sounds so "trackerish" and old, might be something to do with that they're old .

my god.. what's wrong with tracker sound and gloria definitely doesn't sound THAT old considering it was made in 1993. this type of trance is what started it all, when it was deep and hypnotic and not the commercial cheese trance is mostly nowadays (yes even my own goddamn pop trance) ;D

Simply amazing music project here! One of the brightest diamonds in the legendary Platipus' lineup. I really love the tracks like "Octopus", "Kaleidoscope", "Blue Owl" and of course the one and only "Madagascar". The age is rottening these releases but it haven't make them any lesser ones in my eyes.
